Gap Analysis: “An Ounce of Prevention” was developed in cooperation with physicians, from multiple specialties, to provide up-to-date educational information in general healthcare and, specifically, preventative care. The United States spends more on healthcare than any other nation. Chronic disease places enormous economic demands on our society and individual families. Decreasing healthcare costs, hospitalizations, and disease progression is vital to managing healthcare costs, improving quality of life and longevity. Preventative care is key to achieving healthy outcomes.
