Neural therapy is a German chronic pain treatment method that involves diagnosing and correcting autonomic nervous system (ANS) dysfunction. In the U.S. ANS dysfunction is not recognized until the patient has developed complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) or reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). The Germans found out that there is a whole spectrum of ANS dysfunction, of which, CRPS is only the most extreme example.

Objectives:
1. Learn the layers of chronic musculoskeletal pain
2. Learn how to diagnose ANS dysfunction and how it causes pain
3. Learn how to treat ANS dysfunction via local anesthetic injections

How to Get Insurance to Pay for Lifestyle Medicine
Katrina Midkiff; New Profit Elevation, Inc.
Lifestyle Medicine, Remote Monitoring, Nutritional Counseling are integrating with the traditional Medical Practice to offer patient care through new approaches such as IVM Therapy and Group Sessions. It is predicted, “only one in three doctors will remain independent.” Reimbursement pressures and overhead costs were the two most significant factors cited as the most compelling factor to influence them to move away from private practice. Getting Insurance carriers to pay presents a new set of challenges that requires a new set of strategies.

Objectives:
1.  How to leverage complimentary medical practice disciplines to meet the needs of today’s patients
2. Share case study examples of medical practices being reimbursed for Lifestyle care
3. Demonstrate new medical practice concepts and strategies to allow for success
