DO

Rajiv Tangri, DO completed his medical school training in the inaugural class at Midwestern University, in Glendale, Arizona. His internship was in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University’s Evanston Hospital. His first residency was in Nuclear Medicine at Yale University. Following this, he did his second residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Columbia University’s affiliated St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Dr. Tangri was chief resident in both residencies, has taught nuclear medicine and radiology to residents and students, and is dual board certified in Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology. He pursued the medical field to learn about the origin of pain. During his training, he learned that there are multifactorial origins of pain, and being able to discern the origins of pain with noninvasive imaging has been rewarding. Dr. Tangri likes to hike, bike, and enjoy Arizona’s natural beauty in his free time.
