Description

In this lecture, Christopher Wolff, DO, FAAPMR will discuss evidence-based peripheral neurologic examinations.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Implement quality physical exams into practice.
  2. Discriminate between MSK vs. Neuro/Radicular back pain.
  3. Distinguish poor teasing procedures and demonstrate quality skills to the audience. 

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 0.5 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Chris Wolf, DO, FAAPMR graduated from ATSU-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency with the University of Missouri, Columbia.  He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in Brain Injury Medicine and in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.  Dr. Wolf is Clinic Director in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri School of Medicine where he is also the Associate Residency Director and Associate Professor of Clinical Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He serves as the president of the medical executive committee at Rusk Rehabilitation Center.  Dr. Wolf is well known at MAOPS as he was a Wetzel Scholar for six years, is a MAOPS Board member, is currently the Education Chair for the Wetzel Foundation and is a recipient of the prestigious MAOPS President’s Award for meritorious service.
