2. Be able to find what vaccines are recommended for their patients during the COVID-19 pandemic

3. Know the latest about the development of the COVID Vaccination

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The West Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (WVOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Stan Grogg, DO, known as Dr. Stan,  earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a professor emeritus at the Oklahoma State University - CHS. He has numerous honors, awards and publications.   He represents the American Osteopathic Association as their Liaison for the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) and American Academy of Pediatrics.  He has a travel medicine certificate from the International Society of Travel Medicine. Dr. Stan’s hobby is traveling.   He has visited 184 countries and all continents. He is the Chair of a non-Profit, Power of a Nickel, and leads medical teams to serve the underserved to 9-10 countries annually except during COVID-19.
