Gap Analysis: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” – Charles Darwin
Diseases, medicine, treatments, technology, and healthcare, as a whole, are constantly changing. “What’s Next?” will address these ever-present changes we are experiencing in healthcare. Further, we will place emphasis on the expected changes that clinical research, treatment, technology, and advanced payment models will have in the coming years and prepare the physician for the future and what’s next.
Program Objectives: After physicians depart from this program, they will have a better understanding of what’s next with the emerging technologies in medicine as well as a gained knowledge of appropriately prescribing controlled substances and various subspecialties’ medical updates.
Physicians and medical professionals will review the 'why' of the requirement for the Face to Face (FTF) evaluation and discuss the energy requirements of gait and the effects of cardio-pulmonary function and musculoskeletal compromise on the energy requirements. They will review how to meet the physician attestation requirements with simple office tests, physical findings, imaging, and tests.
