Gap Analysis: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” – Charles Darwin
Diseases, medicine, treatments, technology, and healthcare, as a whole, are constantly changing. “What’s Next?” will address these ever-present changes we are experiencing in healthcare. Further, we will place emphasis on the expected changes that clinical research, treatment, technology, and advanced payment models will have in the coming years and prepare the physician for the future and what’s next.
Program Objectives: After physicians depart from this program, they will have a better understanding of what’s next with the emerging technologies in medicine as well as a gained knowledge of appropriately prescribing controlled substances and various subspecialties’ medical updates.
Gap Analysis: “An Ounce of Prevention” was developed in cooperation with physicians, from multiple specialties, to provide up-to-date educational information in general healthcare and, specifically, preventative care. The United States spends more on healthcare than any other nation. Chronic disease places enormous economic demands on our society and individual families. Decreasing healthcare costs, hospitalizations, and disease progression is vital to managing healthcare costs, improving quality of life and longevity. Preventative care is key to achieving healthy outcomes.
Program Objective: At the completion of this seminar, attendees will have a better understanding of multiple disease processes and preventive measures to serve their patients and communities better.
